ukhaiḥ kākairbakolūkaistīkṣṇatuṇḍairvitudyate /
manujānāṃ hitaṃ dānamante vaitaraṇī khaga //
He is pecked by sharp-beaked crows, herons, and owls. / For human beings, the gift [of a cow] at the end for the Vaitaraṇī is beneficial, O bird.
