pitāmahībhiḥ sāpiṇḍyaṃ tathā mātāmahaiḥ saha /
uktaṃ bhartrāpi sāpiṇḍyaṃ striyā veṣayabhedataḥ //
Sāpiṇḍya [may be performed] with paternal grandmothers, and likewise with maternal grandfathers; / sāpiṇḍya for a woman is also taught with her husband according to different circumstances.
