śaunaka uvāca /
āste siddhāśrame puṇye sūtaḥ paurāṇikottamaḥ /
sa etadakhilaṃ vetti vyāsaśiṣyo yatīśvaraḥ //
Śaunaka said: / "In the holy Siddhāśrama resides Sūta, the foremost of purāṇic reciters; / he knows all this, that disciple of Vyāsa and lord of ascetics.
