sāttvikānyeva jānīdhvaṃ prāyaśo nātra saṃśayaḥ /
eteṣāṃ śravaṇādeva gāruḍārdhaphalaṃ śrutam //
you should know as truly sāttvika for the most part; there is no doubt here. / From merely hearing these, half the fruit of the Garuḍa is taught in tradition.
