evaṃ vinirmame brahmā matprasādātkhageśvara /
evaṃ jñātvā mokṣameti nānyathā tu kathañcana //
Thus Brahmā created by my grace, O king of birds.
Knowing this, one attains liberation; in no other way whatsoever.

iti śrīgāruḍe mahāpurāṇe śrīkṛṣṇagaruḍasaṃvāde uttarakhaṇḍe tṛtīyāṃśe brahmakāṇḍe devotpattinirūpaṇaṃ nāma trayodaśo 'dhyāyaḥ
Thus ends the thirteenth chapter, entitled 'Determination of the Origin of the Gods', in the Brahmakāṇḍa, the third part of the Uttarakhaṇḍa, in the dialogue between Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Garuḍa, in the glorious and great Garuḍapurāṇa.
