śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca /
viśiṣṭadehasaṃ prāptau bhāratyāḥ pakṣisattama /
vakṣyāmi kāraṇaṃ vīndra sāvadhānamanāḥ śṛṇu //

The blessed Kṛṣṇa said: / Concerning Bhāratī's attainment of a distinguished body, O best of birds, / I shall tell the reason, O lord of birds; listen with an attentive mind.
