sevāṃ kartuṃ tvicchato daityasaṃghānkiñcitkālaṃ tapasā kliśyamānān /
varāndātuṃ sadya evābhijātaḥ sadyojātetyeva saṃjñāmavāpa //
Desiring to serve the hosts of Daityas who were tormented by austerity for a short time,
he was born immediately to grant boons; thus he obtained the name Sadyojāta.
