bhūmau dvidhā saṃprajātā kumāryeva na saṃśayaḥ /
bhadrājanma pravakṣyāmi śṛṇu pakṣīndrasattama //
She was born twofold on earth as a maiden, without a doubt. / I shall declare the birth of Bhadrā; listen, O best among the lords of birds.

Thus ends the nineteenth chapter, named 'Determination of the Marriage of Nīlā', in the Brahmakāṇḍa, the third section of the Uttarakhaṇḍa in the glorious and great Garuḍa Purāṇa.
