daityādikānduḥ khamatīnha yasmāttamasyandhesarvadā citsvarūpī /
tasmādāhurduḥ svarūpī haristvaṃ duḥ khasvarūpāttvaṃ ca duḥ khī hare tvam //

Since the daityas and others, whose intellects are filled with suffering, [are cast] into blinding darkness, while you are eternally of the nature of pure consciousness, / therefore they say you, Hari, are of the nature of suffering [to them]; from the nature of suffering, you become one afflicted with sorrow, O Hari.
