gṛhṇāti nityaṃ mādhavākhyo hariścetyevaṃ jñātvā deyamannādikaṃ ca /
evaṃ jñātvā dīyamānena nityaṃ prīṇāti viṣṇurnānyathā vyarthameva //

Knowing that Hari named Mādhava constantly receives [it], food and the like should be given. / Offered with such knowledge, Viṣṇu is constantly pleased; otherwise it is entirely in vain.
