kanyovāca /
jaigīṣavya brūhi me ke ca bhaktā bhaktiṃ kathaṃ darśayāmāsurete /
teṣāṃ hariḥ śrīnivāso mahātmā trātā sadā bhaktavarge dayāluḥ //

The maiden said:
“Tell me, Jaigīṣavya, who are the devotees, and how did they demonstrate devotion? / To them Hari, the magnanimous Śrīnivāsa, is an eternal protector and compassionate to the assembly of his devotees.”
