gaṅgādīnāṃ vandanaṃ kāryameva sāṣṭāṅgaṃ vai tulasīnāṃ tathaiva /
aśvatthānāṃ namanaṃ kāryameva gavādīnāṃ namanaṃ mānasena //

Prostration must indeed be made to the Gaṅgā and others; a full prostration likewise to the tulasīs; / bowing must be made to aśvattha trees; and bowing to cows and others in the mind.
