sopānānāṃ vīndra cārohaṇena tvavaiṣṇavānāṃ haritoṣo na caiva /
tenaiva teṣāṃ sādhanaṃ bhūya eva tamasyandhe pātayituṃ khagendra //
By climbing the steps, O lord of birds, there is no pleasing of Hari for non-Vaiṣṇavas; / by that very act their practice is only to cast them into blinding darkness, O King of Birds.
