lakṣmīpate ceti vadanti sarve dhanīti śabdaḥ svābhivācī yato hi /
atopyāryā mādhaveti bruvanti lakṣmīpate pāhi tathaiva bhaktān //

And all said: 'O Lord of Lakṣmī!', since the word 'dhana' signifies wealth of one's own; / hence the noble call him Mādhava: 'O Lord of Lakṣmī, protect your devotees!'
