tasmin sutīrthe paritastatratatra jayeti śabdaḥ śrūyate cāparāhne /
idaṃ tīrthaṃ nārasiṃhābhidhaṃ ca kanyesnānaṃ hyatra kāryaṃ manuṣyaiḥ //
Around that fine bathing-place, here and there the cry 'Jaya!' is heard in the afternoon. / This sacred bathing-place is named Nārasiṃha, O maiden; bathing here must be performed by human beings.
