tadā hyalakṣmīḥ kutra palāyate 'sāvato mūlaṃ viṣṇupādaṃ bhajasva /
pate bhaja tvaṃ sarvadā vāyutattvaṃ na cāśrayestvaṃ sūkṣmaskandaṃ ca mūḍha //
where does this Alakṣmī flee then? Therefore, worship the root, the feet of Viṣṇu! / O husband, always worship the principle of Vāyu; do not take refuge in the subtle Skanda, O fool!
