kārpāsaṃ vai tena dattaṃ gṛhītvā saṃtiṣṭhamāne yamadūtaiśca samyak /
saṃhanyamānastīkṣaṇadhāraiḥ kuṭhāraiḥ kulāladevaṃ ca sudaṃṣṭranetram /
vihāya vai kutra palāyitobhūnna jñāyate 'nveṣaṇāccāpi kena //

Taking the cotton offered by him while he stayed, and [the man] being thoroughly struck by Yama's messengers / with sharp-edged axes, abandoning [the worshipper], where did that potter-god with sharp fangs and eyes run away to? / Even by searching, it is not known by anyone.
