punīhi gātraṃ sarvadā mūḍhabuddhe mantrāṣṭakairjanmatīrthe pavitre /
hṛdi sthitāṃmārairvyamudrāṃ vihāya kṛtvābhūṣāṃ viṣṇumudrābhiragryām //
purify your body always, O foolish-minded one, with the eight mantras at the sacred birthplace; / abandoning the stamp residing in the heart, adorn yourself with the foremost stamps of Viṣṇu.
