avarāṇāṃ guṇasyāpi hyuttamānāmadhīnatā /
astīti dyotanāyaiva śatāṃśādhikamucyate //
Even with regard to the quality of inferior beings, there is indeed subordination to the superior;
it is only to indicate that [subordination] that [one] is said to possess one-hundredth part more.
