yasmādutkṛṣṭo hariratra samyagato hyasau budhavannāma cāpa /
sakhā hyabhūtkṛṣṇadevasya nityaṃ mahāmatiḥ sarvalokeṣu pujvaḥ //
Because Hari is completely superior here, he obtained the name like a wise man;
he was always the friend of the divine Kṛṣṇa, of great intellect, worshipful in all the worlds.
