sarvaṃ nu satyaṃ yadi mithyā bhavettu tadā tvasau māṃ daśatuhyahīndraḥ /
evaṃ bruvannuragaṃ kopayuktaṃ samagrahīnnādaśatsopyuraṅgaḥ //
All [this] is indeed true; if it should be false, then let this king of serpents bite me! / Speaking thus, he took hold of the enraged serpent, and that serpent did not bite [him].
