etatsarvaṃ yadi mithyā bhavettu tadā tvasau māṃ daśatu hyahīndra //
I speak the truth: the Puruṣa is Viṣṇu alone; raising my arm, [I swear] the truth, the truth! / If all this should be false, then let this king of serpents bite me!
