bhayaṃ ca lajjā naiva cāste vadhūnāṃ tathā nṛṇāṃ vanitānāṃ yatīnām /
svasāraṃ te hyaviditvā dinepi suvāma yajñena svābhāvaśca vīndra //
There is neither fear nor shame in brides, nor in men, women, or ascetics; / not knowing their own essence even by day, by distorted ritual they follow their natural impulse, O best of birds.
