yā revatī raivatasyaiva putrī sā vāruṇī balabhadrasya patnī /
sauparṇanāmnī balapatnī khagendra yāstāstisraḥ ṣaḍviṣṇośca strībhyaḥ /
dviguṇādhamā rudraśeṣādikebhyo daśādhamā tvaṃ vijānīhi pautra //
Revatī, who is the daughter of Raivata, is Vāruṇī, the wife of Balabhadra. / The wife of Bala named Sauparṇā, O King of Birds, and those three who are the six wives of Viṣṇu: / they are twice as low, and ten times lower than Rudra, Śeṣa, and the others; know this, O grandson.'
