śayyākāle saṃsmareccaiva nityaṃ saṃkarṣaṇākhyaṃ viṣṇurūpaṃ hariṃ ca /
nidrākāle saṃsmaretpadmanāmaṃ kathākāle vyāsarūpaṃ hariṃ ca //

At bedtime, one should always remember Hari, the form of Viṣṇu named Saṃkarṣaṇa; / at the time of sleep, one should remember the one named Padmanābha; and at the time of holy narration, Hari in the form of Vyāsa.
