khagendrātaḥ prakṛtiḥ sūkṣmarūpā sā nityā sā satyabhūtā sadaiva /
evaṃ svayaṃ kālavāyvādikānāṃ parā (ramā)ṇavaḥ satyarūpāśca santi //
Therefore, O King of Birds, primordial matter (prakṛti) is subtle in form; it is eternal, and it is always real. / In the same way, the ultimate atoms (paramāṇu) of time, wind, and so forth are themselves of real nature.
