tamevāhuścaramāṃśaṃ viśeṣaṃ ye caivamāhurmunayastena cānye /
ye kāṇādā gautamādyāḥ khagendra niraṃśakaṃ paramāṇuṃ vadanti //
That alone they call the ultimate part, the distinction; and sages who speak thus, and other thinkers, / those followers of Kaṇāda, Gautama, and others, O King of Birds, speak of the ultimate atom as partless.
