athāpare bhāgavatapradhānā yadā na jānīyurathāpare kutaḥ /
māṃ pāhi nityaṃ paratopyadhīśa viśvāmitrānnyūna eveti nityam /
ahaṃ parjanyārdviguṇa eva nityamato mama stavane nāsti śaktiḥ //
Now, when the foremost among other devotees of the Lord do not know, then whence could others? / Protect me always, O Supreme Master, [remembering] that I am always lower than Viśvāmitra; / I have always twice [the qualities] of Parjanya; therefore I have no capacity to praise.'
