śṛṇu tāta ! yathā vṛttaṃ mamedaṃ sukha-duḥkhadam /
yaścāhamāsamanyasmin janmanyasmatparantu yat //

The son spoke:
“Listen, father, how this happened to me, entailing pleasure and pain on me, and who I was in another birth, and what is beyond myself.
