pakṣiṇa ūcuḥ
pitā prāha tataḥ putraṃ śraddadhat tasya tadvacaḥ /
bhavatā yadvayaṃ pṛṣṭāḥ saṃsāragrahaṇāśrayam //
The birds spoke:
Thereupon the father spoke to his son that speech of a man of faith, which relates to the perfection of mundane existence, and which we have been asked by thee, Sir.
