śaraṇāgatān yastyajati lobhād vṛttyupajīvinaḥ /
so 'pyevaṃ yantrapīḍābhiḥ pīḍyate yamakiṅkaraiḥ //
“Whoever through avarice abandons those who have sought protection and who are dependent on him for their livelihood, he indeed is thus tortured by Tama’s servants with tortures by means of machines.
