āyuḥ prajñāṃ dhanaṃ vidyāṃ svargaṃ mokṣaṃ sukhāni ca /
prayacchanti tathā rājyaṃ pitaraḥ śrāddhatarpitāḥ //
Longevity, intellect, wealth, learning, heaven, liberation, and happiness,
as well as kingship, the ancestors bestow when gratified by a śrāddha.
