mārkaṇḍeya uvāca
kathayāmyeṣa te brahman sasarja bhagavān yathā /
lokakṛcchāśvataḥ kṛtsnaṃ jagat sthāvarajaṅgamam //
Mārkaṇḍeya spoke:
Here I tell thee, O brahman, how the adorable eternal framer of the worlds created all the universe moveable and immoveable.
