vedyardhe dakṣime trīṇi trīṇi varṣāṇi cottare /
ilāvṛtaṃ tayormadhye candrārdhākāravat sthitam //

On the southern half of the elevated ground[9] are three countries, and on the north are three. Ilāvṛta is situated between those halves, and is shaped like the half-moon. East of it is Bhadrāśva, and west is Ketumāla.[10]
