tatkarmanigaḍagrastaiḥ svakarmakhyāpanotsukaḥ /
na kiñcit kriyate karma sukhaleśopabṛṃhitaiḥ //
By those seized by the fetters of action, eager to display their own deeds, / nothing is accomplished, enhanced only by a tiny fraction of pleasure.
