parastriyaṃ nābhilaṣedityucurguravo mama /
tena tvāṃ nābhivāñchāmi kāmaṃ vilapa śuṣya vā //
The brāhman spoke:
My spiritual preceptors have told me that one should not covet another’s wife; therefore I long not for thee; bewail thy love or be thou withered!
