mārkaṇḍeya uvāca
pañcamo 'pi manurbrahman raivato nāma viśrutaḥ /
tasyotpattiṃ vistaraśaḥ śṛṇuṣva kathayāmi te //

Moreover the fifth Manu was the famous one named Raivata. Listen! I tell thee fully about his birth.
