visṛṣṭau sṛṣṭirūpā tvaṃ sthitirūpā ca pālane /
tathā saṃhṛtirūpānte jagato 'sya jaganmaye //
At creation you have the form of creation, and in preservation the form of maintenance, / and likewise at the end you have the form of destruction of this world, O you who are identical with the universe!
