*nandikeśvara uvāca
purā rathaṃtare kalpe rājāsītpuṣpavāhanaḥ
nāmnā lokeṣu vikhyātas tejasā sūryasaṃnibhaḥ //

Nandikeśvara said:—In the days gone by, during the Rathantara Kalpa, there lived a mighty king, as illustrious as the Sun, who was known by the name of Puṣpavâhana.—1.
