101.57

viprāyendhanado yastu varṣādicaturastvṛtūn
ghṛtadhenuprado 'nte ca sa paraṃ brahma gacchati
vaiśvānaravrataṃ nāma sarvapāpavināśanam //

One who gives fuel to the Brâhmaṇas during the rainy season and at the end of the year gives away a cow of clarified butter, becomes unified with the supreme Brahma. This is (36) *Vaisvânara-Vrata*—the destroyer of all ills.—57.
