*yudhiṣṭhira uvāca
pṛcchāmi tvāṃ mahāprājña nityaṃ trailokyadarśinam
kathaya tvaṃ samāsena yena mucyeta kilbiṣāt //
On hearing these words of the sage Mârkaṇḍeya, Yudhiṣṭhira fell prostrate at his feet and begged him to tell something that would wash off all his sins.—23-24.
