*mārkaṇḍeya uvāca
kathayiṣyāmi te rājaṃs tīrthayātrāvidhikramam
ārṣeṇa vidhinānena yathādṛṣṭaṃ yathāśrutam //
Mârkaṇḍeya said :—King! I shall now relate to you what you wish to hear, exactly as I have heard from the sages and have seen them doing on such an occasion.—3.
