The tîrtha of Prayâga is by its own virtue sacred of all the tîrthas. The place having the Ganges along with 3 crores and 10,000 tîrthas is the holiest of all. The whole of Prayâga is sacred owing to its being situated on the banks of the Ganges.—11-12.
