pratigrahādupāvṛttaḥ saṃtuṣṭo niyataḥ śuciḥ
ahaṃkāranivṛttaśca sa tīrthaphalamaśnute //
The Brâhmaṇa who is contented and does not accept gifts, and is chaste and devoid of conceit, attains the merits of a pilgrimage to this tîrtha.—10.
