daśa tīrthasahasrāṇi tisraḥ koṭyastathāpagāḥ
māghamāse gamiṣyanti gaṅgāyāṃ bharatarṣabha //
O, King! ten thousand tîrthas and three crores of rivers go and dwell in the Ganges during the month of Mâgha.—16.
