avagāhya hyubhayataḥ samudrau pūrvapaścimau
himaprāyaśca himavān hemakūṭaśca hemavān //
Stretching to the sea on both sides, east and west stand (1) the Himâlaya, full of snow (hîma) and (2) Hemakûṭa full of gold (hema).—11.
