nābhībandhanasambhūto brahmaṇo 'vyaktajanmanaḥ
pūrvataḥ śvetavarṇastu brāhmaṇyaṃ tasya tena vai //

On its navel peduncle (east quadrant) sprung from the self-born unmanifested) Brahmâ there is white colour. Consequently, it is said to have Brâhmaṇical properties.—14.
