jambūdvīpasya vistāras teṣāmāyāma ucyate
nīlaśca niṣadhaścaiva teṣāṃ hīnāśca ye pare //

The sum of the breadths of these varṣas and mountain ranges is breadth of the Jambûdvîpa, as mentioned above. Of these Nîla, Niṣadha are the longest, and those that come after them diminish in length.—22.
