vasanti teṣu sattvāni nānājātīni sarvaśaḥ
imaṃ haimavataṃ varṣaṃ bhārataṃ nāma viśrutam //
In those regions, various species of animals are found everywhere. This varṣa of the Himavat is known as Bhârata.—28.
