pārā ca dhanvatīrūpā viduṣā veṇumatyapi
śiprā hyavantī kuntī ca pāriyātrāśritāḥ smṛtāḥ //

The Vedasmṛitî, the Vetravatî, the Vritraghnî, the Sindhu, the Parṇâsâ, the Narmadâ, the Kâverî, the Mâhî, the Parâ, the Dhanvatî, the Rupâ, the Viduṣâ, the Veṇumatî, the Siprâ, the Avantî, the Kuntî (all these rivers having their source in the *Pâriyâtra* mountain).
